NAM- Creators Wanted
One of Lime Media’s longest-running programs utilizes our double-expandable trailer! The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the Manufacturing Institute partnered to create the most extensive campaign in the manufacturing industry, Creators Wanted.
Due to some common misconceptions about the trade, there’s a significant gap in the job market, leaving the industry to need to fill 4 million jobs by 2030. The multi-year, cross-country tour aims to allow the younger generation of students to learn more about all the opportunities available in the modern manufacturing field.
Our 53′ double expandable trailer helped create an immersive experience for attendees. Students could team up and enter the trailer to compete in a series of challenges. Each team had 10 minutes to complete each challenge, racing against the clock. The challenges included debunking myths, solving complex riddles, breaking codes, and solving several problems. The entire experience was like a giant escape room, and the students loved it!
In addition to the hands-on learning opportunities, there were several manufacturing exhibits on display and field experts giving demonstrations of their trade. There was even the opportunity to sign up for a mentorship with someone in the manufacturing field. In addition, there were job resources for attendees old enough to take the next career step.
The custom fabrication for the Creators Wanted events included several interactive wall displays, custom LED lighting, a full vinyl wrap, custom acrylic prop builds, and more!
NAM and the Manufacturing Institute are already seeing the results of their efforts. By 2025, it’s estimated that there will be 600,000 new workers in the industry. In addition, 25% more students enrolled in technical schools and a positive perception increase by parents from 27% to 50%.
