As spring weather draws more motorcyclists onto Texas roadways, the Texas Department of Transportation is launching its “Share the Road: Look Twice for Motorcycles” campaign to reduce crashes and save lives. The campaign is part of the National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month in May.
A new partner to Lime Media, Environmedia, came to us to help their client, the Texas Department of Transportation, create a visual that would stand above the crowds and convey the message of motorcycle safety at events throughout Texas. We used one of our 12’ glass box trucks and fully wrapped it in black and yellow vinyl to mimic the colors of the roadway. We built out the back of the glass box to resemble a rural road by placing vinyl on the floor as well as the back wall that was in the image of a road with the yellow passing stripes.
Finally, to make it more interactive, we added a gorgeous custom motorcycle that would catch the eye of any passerby that people could sit on. Once seated on the motorcycle, guest could take photos and were encouraged to share them via their social media outlets.
