Rolling Success: How Brands are Winning with Innovative Promotional Vehicle Design

Brands are taking their marketing efforts to the streets with eye-catching promotional vehicles designed with the help of the team here at Lime Media. From L.L. Bean’s giant Bootmobile to CeraVe’s rolling skincare drama set and King’s Hawaiian’s mobile pretzel paradise, Lime Media brings the art of imagination to life by creating extraordinary experiences for brands, conceptualizing each detail from start to finish.

Industry veteran and Turtle Transit CEO, James Riseborough, who joined us in 2024 with Lime Media’s acquisition of Turtle Transit, bringing together two icons under one roof. James leads the creative development and execution of Lime’s special projects, bringing imagination to life starting with a pen and a piece of paper.

By the way, these aren’t just flashy rides; they’re fully functional, versatile marketing powerhouses that engage audiences with interactive elements, product sampling, and immersive brand storytelling. By bringing their products directly to consumers in unexpected and memorable ways, these companies are driving engagement and brand awareness to new levels.

Promotional Vehicle Design and the 65 mph Boot (L.L. Bean Bootmobile)

Hey, ever seen a giant boot cruising down the highway? That’s L.L. Bean’s Bootmobile, and Lime Media is the team behind this rolling wonder. We transformed a regular truck into a 13-foot-tall, 20-foot-long boot that’s basically a size 708 shoe! This mobile marketing marvel travels cross-country, surprising folks with freebies and turning heads everywhere it goes. It’s not just eye-catching; it’s a brilliant way to get people excited about L.L. Bean. Bootmobile is a brand ambassador on wheels, making a lasting impression that no ordinary billboard could match.

Drama Free Skincare with CeraVe, Drama Free Promotional Vehicle Design with Lime Media

CeraVe launched their first-ever mobile tour designed to engage consumers in an immersive brand experience, and tasked Lime Media to bring the design to life!

In partnership with Youth Marketing Connection, we transformed our 32-foot trailer into a mobile soap opera set, complete with marquee signs, movie posters, and even a bubble-popping game. Inside, we created a hands-on skincare playground with functional sinks, fancy lighting, and space for one-on-one dermatologist assessments. Outside, CeraVe went big with a giant bubble-blowing cleanser bottle and an interactive ceramide station. CeraVe’s tour was a massive hit, drawing crowds of people eager to experience this skincare extravaganza on wheels.

King’s Hawaiian Launches Pretzel Bites with Eli Manning with a Promotional Vehicle Designed for the Occasion.

King’s Hawaiian jumped into the snack game with a bang, and the team at Lime Media helped them roll out in style! In partnership with Entertainment3Sixty, we drew up a show-stopping Ford F-250 with a giant pretzel package on top, towing a 24-foot Snack House trailer. We didn’t just build a truck; we created a mobile Hawaiian paradise, complete with a cozy island home interior. The genius part? The truck and trailer can work together or separately, giving King’s Hawaiian tons of flexibility for different events. This pretzel-powered party on wheels is hitting 14 markets over 8 months, bringing the aloha spirit to events from The Big E to the Super Bowl. King’s Hawaiian and Lime Media didn’t just build a promotional vehicle; we crafted a versatile, eye-catching experience that people can’t wait to be part of!
