we fabricated a road-safe, larger than life sized vehicle replica of jacquemus rond carré clutch.
the process began with a concept sketch to visualize the project, followed by detailed renders and build drawings. the build started with the decommissioning of an isuzu chassis. a custom steel frame was then constructed to form the base shape of the purse. this phase required meticulous craftsmanship by our special projects division, as each steel component had a precise curvature and had to be perfectly leveled to achieve the final structure. after the steel frame was in place, polished aluminum sheeting was applied to create the reflective appearance of the purse. the iconic jacquemus gold chrome sphere and cube were custom-crafted. the inside was converted to a food safe preparation area with hydraulic serving hatch.
jacquemus teased the store opening with an instagram post inviting guests to join them for the store opening in soho village, with breakfast served from the jacquemus truck. the day before the store launch, jacquemus posted a video to instagram revealing the jacquemus truck with scenes driving through iconic locations in the city, encouraging guests to join them for the store opening. the store launch went viral with attendees posting photos of the truck and the store, sharing their excitement with their followers.
